TWAS-DFG Cooperation Visits Programme: 2020 call for applications is now open!

TWAS-DFG Cooperation Visit: deadline 18 May 2020
The TWAS-DFG Cooperation Visits Programme provides postdoctoral researchers who have obtained their PhD not earlier than 2015 and are from  sub-Saharan Africa, including South Africa, with the opportunity to make a ‘Cooperation Visit’ to an institute in Germany.
Such visits will have a duration of no more than three months and must be undertaken within 12 months of the award.

The deadline for submission is 18 May 2020.

Blaise Pascal International Chairs Call for Applications – 2020

The Blaise Pascal International Chairs Program enables eminent international researches to be hosted by higher education and research institutions of the Paris Region and provides co-funding for their research project.

ELIGIBILITY
The call for applications is open to high-level researchers in position abroad (without any condition of nationality).

Applications must be drawn up jointly by applicants and their host institutions in the Paris Region.

Each Chair allows to host a researcher in a higher education and research institution(s) of the Paris Region for the minimum hosting period of 12 months (full- time) that can be spread over 24 months.

This 2020 campaign is open to projects of all disciplines and all scientific fields.

The candidate must propose an ambitious research project that he/she intends to conduct in collaboration with a laboratory attached to a host higher education or research institution of the Paris Region, along with a teaching program which must include at least ten lectures and at least one seminar for students and young researchers of the Paris Region. Innovative teaching methods and practices will be encouraged.

Applications must be submitted by a host institution through the regional online platform: mesdemarches.iledefrance.fr/.
